Pathing

Program Note:

Pathing is a brief exploration of a musical idea through three forms, focusing on the unique techniques and timbres of the cello, including left hand pizzicato, natural and artificial harmonics, and bow pressure, to create microtonal textures. Through its unfolding forms, Pathing invites the listener to reflect on the ways in which a single idea can evolve and take on new identities.
